Off to film the trench scenes

October 16, 2015

Everyone will be arriivng shortly for the convoy down to Pendine, Camarthenshire.

Our location is approximately 74 miles away, which is why I decided everyone should stay at the location over the weekend.

Our actors will be making their own way down, everyone should be in situ by 8pm.

Boxes of uniforms, replica weapons, real (but decommissioned weapons - all licenced) props, food, beer, wine, make up, trench dirt, blood, german buttons, old pennies, letters, pencils, trench tools, etc, all waiting to be loaded into the cars.

And of course we have camera equipment, sound equipment, photography equipment, hair and make up equipment to squeeze in as well.

I want to take this moment to thank the following people for supplying, free of charge, items for our shoot.

Barry at War - Lee Enfield Rifle, Bayonet and trench items

Alun Robertson - Lee Enfield Rifle and Bayonet

Wayne Gill - Lee Enfield Rifle and Bayonet, uniform and Lewis Gunner webbing

Andy Edwards for replica Lewis gun and the trench!  :D

Seimon Pugh-Jones - for various trench items.

I won't be able to update the blog while at the shoot, so see you all when I get back!

It's happening!  :D
