The props are beginning to arrive. WW1 cigarette packets, match boxes, coins, buttons, envelopes, pens, blood. Yes I did say blood. Trench dirt.
Also I am thrilled to be able to announce that our three principle actors will have original Lee Enfield rifles, suppled by Barry War Museum, Alan Robertson and Wayne Gill.
I personally know all the volunteers at Barry War Museum, mainly because I am one of the volunteers.
They are also loaning me the use of a uniform for the At Home scenes, as well as various trench tools and equipment.
Also loaning us equipment is The Tin Shed Experience at Laugharne, just down the road from Morfa Bay Adventures. Seimon from The Tin Shed will be on hand to make sure the guys are kitted up correctly for the trench shoot.
