Panic, stress - part 2.

October 9, 2015

And it's not about my back, which is very slowly getting better.

I received some advice from my sister Denise Heywood who is a costume maker, on the costumes I've hired for the girls at home scenes, and the advice was, more 1920s than 1916.

Arggghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

What to do?

If Denise had been in this country she would have organised the girls' costumes for me, but she is away working on the Muskateers series in Praque.

She told me to contact Bristol Costume Services, which I did and gave them the whole sob story, and that we are shooting in two days, and well just - total melt down.

They got back to me two hours later to say they had sourced various garments, and they will  courier them to me over night.

Talk about knife edge!
